You can see below how I have my Preferences set!
To open your Preferences go to file/preferences Page 3
Allow Room Invites
Put a Check here to allow Room Invites Uncheck to not allow Room away message
This will post into the chat room your away message every (how many minutes you have your away message set to) Room Away Message Every Mins (set this to how often you want your message to post) Away Message (set your own message here) Browser Options
This takes you where you want to go...Its set by default to Internet Explorer so when you click on a link in the chat room Internet Explorer will open the link for you..You can change the web browser to use by clicking on Change Web Browser and selecting a different Web Browser from your files. Example:I went to programs files/yahoo/browser/ybrowser.exe to select my yahoo browser. E mails and Profile Edit
Putting a check here and entering your Yahoo E mail Password will auto log you in to your E mail and Profile Smiley Faces
Normal Faces..Big Faces..Xmas Faces Just Check what ones you want to use if you do not have them a link will appear just click the link to get the sets
If you put a check here this Allows Yah Elite Exploits on INF tags so you can see Yah elite Avatars when the user uses Tattoo's or Thoughts....It will also open yazak to Exploits made using INF by Malicious users. Your choice.
Auto Send Boot Back
This sends the Booters boot codes back to the booter!!
If you put a check here NO ONE can add you to there friends list with out you un checking this option (note that booters will add you to there friends list then send you repeated packets to boot you from chat keeping this checked will stop that problem)
If you have this box checked you can Accept File Transfers from Yahoo Messenger.(I recommend un checking this box as booters also use this feature to boot ppl) just check this box when you know someone is sending you a file and you want to accept it.
Yazak now has conference check this box to allow conference invites (Note: you can invite some one to conference by going to friend at top of yazak and select conference invites)
Client id is the client tag you see next to the user name in the user list. This is set to yazak info tag by default showing you as being on YZ client you can change this to what ever you want it to say example: to change the tag you need to #(your word here)# #carol#
to put the carol I entered it like so #carol# pressed enter and clicked ok on preference box. Now to other users I show as being on client carol
